What Does 1111 Mean and Why do I Keep Seeing it?

The number question I get asked is, “What does 1111 mean and why do I keep seeing it?”, and it makes sense as it’s in my name, The 11:11 Babe. That wasn’t chosen without thought, it was very purposeful. I see myself as a guide for those awakening to who they truly are, not the mask they pretend to be in order to be seen as “normal”. As the famous phrase goes

“Normal is nothing more than a setting on a washing machine”.

So let's dive into 1111, why you are seeing it, and what it means.

 

The number 1 in numerology represents the start and the beginning of everything.

 

It is the beginning of the Hero’s Journey, a story that Tarot itself represents. It is your first step into the unknown, it is the leap of faith. So when you glance at the clock and keep seeing 11:11 or you’re at the store and you notice your total is $11.11 you start to feel like you may be going crazy. Don’t worry, you aren’t, you are just being nudged by the Universe/God to wake up. You’re being gently guided into questioning what reality is and what is truly possible, along with questioning who you are and what your role is in all of this.

 

You likely have seen it enough to end up on a search engine or even Reddit typing in “Why do I keep seeing 11:11”. I like to refer to this as a Universal alarm clock, and it gets you doing exactly what you are supposed to do, questioning and searching for answers. I know that seems like a very vague answer, but it literally is just the beginning of the journey and once you accept that maybe you don’t know everything yet and there is more to learn about this world and yourself, things start to make much more sense.

So what is the real world? That’s up to you to explore. A spiritual journey is incredibly personal and specific to you. There are tools to assist you along the way such as being aware of the general meanings of Angel Numbers such as 1111, Tarot, Astrology, Meditation, etc. But these are just tools, they don’t define things in black and white for you. The true oracle, the true answers, are within you, you only need to be open minded enough to find them.

So the next time you see 11:11 I want you to do these two things:

1. Take note of what is happening around you and what your thoughts and feelings are. Write this down somewhere you can come back to later on, be that in a notebook or on your phone.

2. Notice if there is a pattern to when you are seeing this specific number synchronicity, is it happening around the same people, places, or moments in your life. Again, write this information down. Chances of you remembering these details in such a loud and distracting world are slim to none.

Yeah, but I am ALREADY questioning things, what does seeing 11111 mean to me?

 

If you are already into your path and have had a spiritual awakening or shift 1111 represents alignment, you are exactly where you are supposed to be. I call this the text message from the Universe. It’s a little love note that lets you know you got this, your thoughts and actions are currently aligned with your soul (also referred to as the Higher Self). This will often pop up when you are thinking or speaking about something as a confirmation that you are 100% correct. This is an excellent tool to help you lean more into developing your intuition so it can happen during seemingly important times such as “What should I have for dinner”. Intuition is a muscle, and the more you use it the stronger it gets. There’s nothing too small or big to lean into the whisper and listen.
